I am in my first year of IBT at Thomas More. So far, I like my courses and program we have as we get to go to an exchange and internship. I like the teachers and how they teach. Also, I am happy in my school. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

I really appreciated how accessible and responsive the school administration was, especially when I was looking for an international internship. I could always count on receiving quick and helpful replies. The same goes for the teachers. I really enjoyed how easy it was to communicate with them, both online and on campus. Most professors genuinely showed a passion for teaching and enriched their course material by sharing their personal experiences and professional expertise. This made the learning experience much more engaging and valuable.

Thomas More is an outstanding institution. The teachers, the people, staff and the kind of different students it attracts all make it a very good institution, that I always commend to other students. Especially as a international business student, the opportunity to go abroad gives you another perspective on life itself. All my fellow classmates look back on this experience the same.

Thomas More University of Applied Sciences provided me with a solid foundation in international business and trade. The practical approach to learning, combined with real-world case studies, equipped me with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of the global market. The dedicated faculty members, with their industry expertise, were instrumental in shaping my understanding of international business. Additionally, the university’s emphasis on intercultural competence and language skills broadened my horizons and prepared me for a diverse professional environment. Overall, my experience at Thomas More was invaluable and has set me on a path to a successful career in business management.

Thomas More is pretty hands-on and practical in their teaching style. The teachers are experienced in their field and in addition to the exam, there are different assignments, group works, essays, etc to apply our learned material in. The international section is still quite new and the school is working out some kinks, there is a small language barrier with the staff or some teachers sometimes, but they are open for feedback and try to improve. Otherwise, from the international courses, International Business is by far the most adequate here, seems like it is in focus for the school also and quite popular with students all over the world. The student population is really diverse, with over 50 different cultures in my course alone. Overall, not a perfect score for the school, because it is still going through some growing pains, but I’ve enjoyed it so far.

The programme has a strong international focus, which is exactly what I was looking for, and the combination of business theory and practical assignments makes the learning experience engaging and relevant.

I especially appreciate the multicultural environment and the opportunities to work with students from different backgrounds. The programme also gives you the opportunity to develop useful skills in areas such as international business, finance, communication and strategy and also apply these in real life as we got to do on our trip to Budapest. Overall, I would recommend International Business and Trade to students who are looking for a practical business education with an international perspective.

I like most of it honestly the way my university is managing handling us the degree but I feel like there are some courses which are bs and we don’t need them at all. the quality of those courses should either be improved or to replace with something better. for example courses like- personal development(idk what i learnt, paid 35 euros for the mapstell thing for no good reason, AI tools(even though it’s not fully useless we can gain some insights but still most of the info can be found on the internet), business communication(sounds like an useful course but was just average english teaching and some information about powerpoint slides) and maybe there are more I just finished my first year. And there are very useful good courses indeed like Business intelligence fundamentals, digital skills, business integration, cost calculation, financial management, sales, marketing fundamentals, micro macro economics, i really find them interesting and very important and most importantly 100% to my degree unlike the ones i mentioned useless. Some professors are really nice, friendly, gives a shit about your progress, your mental health, some are very rude, arrogant, have a military attitude, some are very old they think themselves as the best. I feel like we need more positive energy from the professors cz I feel like a professor can change your perspective of how u feel about a course.
