North South University is a leading Bangladeshi University. They always try to implement future proof learning materials but long way to go. The semester fee is a bit higher and sometimes the grading policy depends on the faculty.Though its a common problem at all the universities. They got very good labs , but sometimes student cannot enjoy the process for tight schedule. I would recommend this University ,because they are trying to improve more .

I studied at NSU from 2017 to 222 in BSc in CSE. The curriculum they designed is not up to the current standards. They failed to teach a lot of courses that are very important in today’s workplaces. Moreover, the courses they teach, are poorly designed and barely cover the basic requirements. For example, in the Database course, they only showed some SQL queries and that’s it. There are relational databases, non-relational databases, key-value databases, graph databases, and document databases. But in the course, we were only taught MySql DB. The teaching standard is really really low. The university is only good at producing models for the entertainment industry. And most of the students come to the university only to show off their father’s money. The board members are greedy, sleazy business people, and don’t really have any interest in education. The university is their money-making duck. I work as a software engineer in the US, and I suffer due to my poor education at this university. I don’t have grudges against the faculty members, most of them are genuinely helpful and do their best to teach students.
