I completed my BSc in Civil Engineering at CUET from 2013 to 2017, and my overall experience at this institution was highly valuable and transformative.
CUET provides a strong academic foundation, especially in engineering disciplines. The curriculum in Civil Engineering is well-structured and emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Most faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and committed to maintaining academic standards. Their guidance played an important role in shaping my technical skills and professional mindset.
The campus environment is peaceful, green, and well-suited for focused study. Laboratories, libraries, and academic facilities are adequately equipped and continuously improving. Group studies, technical discussions, and project work were an integral part of student life, which helped enhance teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
CUET also encourages extracurricular activities, technical competitions, and student organizations, which contribute to leadership development and personal growth. Living and studying on campus helped me build strong friendships, discipline, and resilience.
Like any institution, there are areas for improvement. Some administrative processes can be time-consuming, and certain facilities could benefit from modernization. However, these challenges also taught students patience, adaptability, and responsibility.
Overall, my time at CUET was academically enriching and personally rewarding. The university played a significant role in preparing me for my professional career in civil engineering. I am proud to be an alumnus and grateful for the knowledge, values, and experiences I gained there.
