at University of Technology Sydney

As an international student in Sydney, Australia, there were a few challenges that I immediately faced upon arriving. One of the biggest challenges is the fact that I’m missing my home and family so much. However, once I started at UTS, I started to feel more at home as the other students and lecturers were so warm and welcoming.

Apart from the top-notch education, the university also strived for a study and leisure balance by organising plenty of social activities for students to enjoy. It was these social activities that allowed me to form lifelong friendships with students from other countries and faculties.

Looking back, UTS provided an international experience for me in the sense that I got to get to know people from various cultures, however, it also provided me with a local experience to enable me to adapt to life in Australia.

I landed a job straight away as soon as I graduated, and have never had any issues in my job career so far, so I would say that the job prospects are excellent as a graduate of UTS.

I would definitely recommend UTS to any student that is looking for a great study life balance and a top-notch education in Australia.
