Usyd has a vibrant and supportive community with a great location of around 15 minutes walk from the station. One thing to highlight would be the research opportunities for undergraduates during classes – especially if you are majoring in sciences. The mentors are highly supportive and provides great exposure to real life lab experiments and experiences, which provides you with the necessary wet and dry lab skills to proceed further in your career.

I am currently a second year student studying at University of Sydney. Overall, I would rate my university life satisfactory. In terms of academics, I would say the units are taught well. I usually would need instructions from both the lectures and tutors. The contents of the classes are relevant to my major and mostly focuses on application. This is perfect for me as a programming student. I also joined multiple societies and clubs and because of it, I would say I have a healthy social life.
