Good program, but still not a perfect experience

I am an oversea student from Vietnam. My experience in RMIT is good, as it created a good vibe for studying. I can also exchange my culture with friends from around the world.
However, the thing that let me down is the lack of support from the university when looking for a job. The university did have a portal for job posting, but it was still extremely difficult for an oversea student like me. Employers usually prefer local students.
After graduating, I returned to Vietnam and still found a good job, thanks to what I learnt an experienced on Australia. However, I still think that exposing to the working environments oversea can widen my perception and have a more profound impact on myself during the first few years of my career.

    RMIT has zero care factor

Horrible experience enrolling online; absolutely zero care factor by RMITThe Program coordinator of Accounting and Bookkeeping at RMIT was absolutely shocking in his lack of basic people skills. I enrolled in this course to begin mid February 2024. Once I was through the time-consuming 2-week enrolment process, I was left in limbo online, unable to select any classes. After numerous failed attempts to contact RMIT for help (left messages on phone line only never to be phoned back; chat messages that would just pass the buck and tell me to go to a different webpage on RMIT and then request a new chat there), I finally received a curt email message from the admin help team telling me I had missed the course date deadline and I would have to defer my online studies for 3 months before a new intake. The course date was to start on the 12 Feb, I was told this on the 13 Feb. Apparently the course had already started 2 weeks earlier and it was impossible for me to catch up. Even though I wanted to study this course full-time and they offered it part-time. No one informed me of any deadline through the entire enrolling process. No apology for the misinformation or misleading me. No flexibility for me to begin anyway. And incredibly rude emails from head of program in accounting, dismissing me. I’m disgusted with the way this institution has conducted itself.
