While the professors were a highlight, my overall experience at the university was less impressive. The facilities were outdated, and there were limited opportunities for hands-on learning or real-world exposure to the tourism industry. I felt that the university lacked the practical resources and career support necessary to truly prepare students for the competitive job market.
Despite the strong academic foundation, the university could greatly benefit from modernizing its infrastructure and providing more industry connections to ensure students are better equipped for their careers.

View moreLike every institution Brusov State University also has its good and bad sides. My experience in the university was really memorable thanks to some of the lecturers and staff members, as well as the friends I have made there. BSU offers different fields of study, such as linguistics, public relations, journalism, tourism, international relations, European studies, political science, but its main focus is the fields of foreign languages. Wherever profession you chose for your study be sure that you will also be learning many languages, as the university teaches 28 languages, such as English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Korean and more. Another positive thing about the BSU that it closely works with many international university and organizations. Hence students are given many opportunities to become exchange students in other European universities or take part in training courses. As for the things that need to be changes in the university is the approach of many lectures that are mostly focused on the theories and somehow manage to make their lectures boring. Another thing that I did not like is that the classrooms are not comfortable and the equipment (notebooks, computer, projectors, etc) are old and need to be changes.
View moreStudying languages is not only about theory, please concentrate also in practice. Of course its good to have good knowledge of linguistics and theories like that, but most of YSLU graduates are lacking simple speaking skills.
