My experience at the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (PAUWES) was truly transformative. I came to PAUWES as a young engineer with a passion for water and energy, but I left with a much deeper understanding of the complex challenges facing Africa in these areas.

PAUWES provides the opportunity to meet different student and lecturers from diverse backgrounds creating an environment of networking amongst students and lecturers providing a wonderful opportunity for growth in future ambitions.

2. Opportunity to network with young people from all over Africa.

3. Capacity building seminars and Opportunity to engage in Diplomacy and international relations.

PAUWES is a fascinating educational establishment that is home to remarkable individuals, stunning languages, and a variety of cultural traditions. The atmosphere conducive to learning is both competitive and welcoming. Working toward the realization of the “AFRICA We Want” vision while surrounded by coworkers hailing from our cherished continent Africa is a lot of fun. The only issue is how difficult it is to adjust and become part of the group.
