The transfer persepctive
As a transfer student I believe that I appreciate this school for what is has better than other students because I have the experience of being somewhere I was unhappy. Haverford has wonderful academics, which is a large benefit but not nearly the half of it. Haverford College is a true community where everyone gets to know each other and you have the opportunity to create long lasting connections with professors and students. Haverford is a community built on trust and self governance because 1) it has quaker foundations but more so 2) the students want the independence that the foundation of trust provides them.
