UPF is one of the 4 public universities in Barcelona. In general, I could say that I received a satisfactory education there. Campuses are great and well located within the city; the quality of the lectures is good; the libraries opening hours is more than enough (during exams period it remains opened every day until 1am); the canteen &bar services are ok (although a little bit expenside). On the other hand, there are certain aspects they could improve: the schedules come out really late so it’s difficult to plan your term in advance (and during your first year you need to be in CSI to decode those schedules), burocracy is extremely slow, some student services are only opened in the morning… What it is sometimes confusing is that UPF works per trimesters and not per quarters, so you work different from all of your non-uni friends. Also, it would be great that when you finish your studies they help you a little bit more. You spend 4 years of your life there and suddenly you are no longer able to use their computers or access to all the material you have been using.
