What is the InFood Online business programme?

The InFood online business programme gives students the chance to gain a global and in-depth view of the food industry. Some of the topics covered in the course include:

  • Operational efficiency
  • The consumer
  • The future of the food sector
  • Value propositions
  • Sustainability in the food industry
  • Global competitiveness

In all of these courses, the university takes advantage of real-world business cases. In this way, students on the programme will discover the challenges actually affecting companies in the food industry today. Cases come from successful companies all over the world, such as Walmart, Amazon, Nestlé, Alibaba, and Calvo. After analysing case studies, students have the opportunity to debate them with their professors and peers. This level of participation and reflection allows students to enrich their understanding and develop their own leadership instincts.

San Telmo professors lead sessions on the course, but the programme also benefits from guest speakers. The CEO of Pepsico South Europe, the COO of Suntory Beverage & Food Spain, and the general manager of Nestlé’s factory at La Penilla have all previously provided insights.
