UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School

The first business school we are going to talk about is the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. It deserves to be listed as number one for many reasons, the first being the fact that this is the only Irish institute that made it into the top 100 in the Financial Times Rankings so far. It was also one of the first Universities to offer an MBA in Europe back in 1964. Its student body is 50% international which is proof that anyone is welcome to join and study at UCD.

Trinity Business School

The Trinity Business School also deserves to be on the list. It is, in fact, ranked first in Ireland in the Eduniversal Dean’s Rankings 2017. The QS Rankings also placed it 23rd in the world in 2019. It was founded in 1925 as a School of Commerce and then turned into a School of Business when it started to offer MBAs as well. The executive MBA is in the 44th place worldwide and is the first Irish MBA program to sit in the top 50.

Dublin Business School

The Dublin Business School opened its doors in 1975 and originally ran evening classes. Today it is the largest independent college in Ireland and has more than 9000 students. The School of Business and Law, School of Arts, and the Professional School constitute the whole institution.

ICD Business School

Then we have ICD Business School, which is located in Central Dublin and is part of the International College Dublin. It is unique because it is the only independent college to offer a Bachelor’s in Business Studies with Chinese Mandarin classes from a beginners level all the way to HSK level 6. It is also a fairly new institute as it was established only in the late 1990s.

IBAT College Dublin

The IBAT College was founded only in 2004 but it is already well known for the variety of courses that it offers. In fact, students can be awarded Bachelor’s, Master’s, professional degrees, and executive classes.
