There are hundreds of business schools in Europe, each with its own unique attractions and selling points. From historic Baltic cities to beachside Mediterranean campuses, the only way to tell if somewhere is right for you is by hearing from other students about their experience.
As part of our Student Reviews Guide 2026, we’re revealing the top ten business schools, as rated by our student reviewers. Compared with traditional university rankings, our list offers an alternative perspective based entirely on the real student experience.

The top 10 Business Schools of 2026
Summary and Methodology
To discover which business schools were rated highest on our platform in 2025, we analysed data from student reviews of European business schools posted between January 1st 2025 and December 31st 2025.
Business schools needed more than 10 reviews to be considered for the ranking, a lower threshold than for the Student Reviews Guide 2026: Top 10 Universities ranking, because these institutions tend to be smaller and, as a result, EDUopinions receives fewer reviews from each school.
The resulting ratings are from students and graduates of each business school, across Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and in both in-person and online courses, providing a wide range of student perspectives and experiences.
10. Nova School of Business and Economics (4.36/5 Overall Rating)

Located on a beachfront campus in Carcavelos, just outside Lisbon, this Portuguese business school is triple-accredited (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) and has been educating future business leaders since 1978.
Ranked 17th in Europe by the Financial Times in 2025, Nova SBE combines rigorous academics with an inspiring Mediterranean lifestyle. With strong placement through the CEMS Global Alliance and affordable tuition compared to other European destinations, Nova SBE offers incredible value alongside world-class education in economics, finance, and business management.
Student Review
This university still has an “old” image when it comes to infrastructures but in terms of classes and contents it’s really good and advanced.
I really liked to study here and would recommend it for sure.
Student Review
It has a great environment, good lectures that for normal skill level and advanced. Very new infrastructure as well, only criticism is that the transport to get there is poor. Otherwise would recommend.
9. Emlyon Business School (4.57/5 Rating)

One of France’s oldest business schools, this prestigious Grande École consistently ranks among Europe’s top 10. The school is renowned for its entrepreneurial focus – the emlyon Incubator supports an average of 60 startups each year, with an 70% five-year survival rate.
With a main hub in the French city of Lyon, named this year’s best hidden gem student city in Europe, emlyon offers a vibrant student lifestyle. Plus, with campuses in Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, and Mumbai, students can also take advantage of global experiences.
Student Review
My favorite thing about emlyon’s Master in Management (Programme Grande Ecole) is that it offers a wide range of different opportunities. Whether you like one field in finance or another one in marketing for example, you can always find great resources and choose courses that align with what makes you vibrate. You can also run personal projects such as creating your own business, volunteering, getting involved in a student club, … And emlyon will always help you if needed.
Student Review
International, still very French, English courses could be better. Professor are real world professionals so that helps with case studies and keeping the class relevant. The management can be much bettter.
8. Johan Cruyff Institute (4.58/5 Rating)

Named after legendary footballer Johan Cruyff, this unique institution is the world’s go-to destination for sports management education. One of these degrees is the Master’s in Sports Management, which is taught in partnership with Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and offers a comprehensive deep-dive into subjects like finance, marketing, and events management – all tailored towards the sports industry.
The location in Barcelona is ideal for students seeking insider access to the industry, as they visit iconic sites such as Spotify Camp Nou (home of FC Barcelona) and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Whether you dream of managing football clubs, organising major sporting events, or working in sports marketing, this is the place to start your career.
Student Review
I really enjoyed my time on Johan Cruyff institute, the facilities, the people and how warm they received us. Tino was great the entire time with us he definitely made the whole experience better. The professors were excellent, I learned so much and definitely have a different perspective towards sports. Last but not least I’m very grateful for seeing the Espanyol, Girona and La Masia facilities and learning things outside the classroom.
Student Review
I really liked the atmosphere, the connections you can make in the sports industry, and the location. The people who work there are very friendly and make you feel comfortable; there was always very good treatment.
7. C3S Business School in Barcelona – C3S (4.58/5 Rating)

Located in the heart of vibrant Barcelona, C3S Business School is a diverse, international institution that welcomes students from over 40 countries. A perk of studying at C3S is that the institution has partnerships with UK institutions, providing UK-recognised degrees at more affordable costs.
The school’s practical, assignment-based learning model and partnerships with leading Barcelona companies ensure you’re career-ready from day one. With bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate programs all taught in English, plus free Spanish language classes in your first year, C3S makes studying in Barcelona both accessible and enriching.
Student Review
My name is Hajar and I am a student here. C3S Business School offers a great environment for learning. The professors are very professional and the courses are very interesting. I am enjoying my time here in Barcelona and feel that I am gaining the skills I need for my future career.
Student Review
I personally recommend the school on it’s practical study with theory. Additionally, for an internation students like us may study in English language and also get benefit to learn free Spanish classes with no extra cost. Transportation is so convenient.
6. Cracow University of Economics – CUE (4.64/5 Rating)

Poland’s largest economics university, Cracow University of Economics (CUE), has over 15,000 students, and has developed a reputation for teaching in Economics and International Relations, Finance, Commodity Science, and Management.
Located in the historic centre of Kraków, a UNESCO World Heritage city with a vibrant student population, studying at CUE also offers an exceptional quality of life alongside a top degree. With exchange programs at 200+ partner universities and affordable tuition (around €3,000-3,200 per year for international students), CUE offers outstanding value in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
Student Review
Apart from the fact that Krakow is an amazing city, it’s also full of potential. The people are kind and always willing to support. There are many mass events here, which is a great time to socialize and meet others. The teaching staff is passionate about their work and is always willing to help. We also often learn practical things.
Student Review
At my university most teachers have a very open, modern approach toward students. They are up to date with changing learning technologies and students habits. They allow us to use AI tools but also teach us how to use it in a more effective, smart way and not just copy and paste. Even more conservative teachers encourage us to have our own opinons on the learning process and are open for discussion when something seems to be no longer actual.
Also the whole programm for each field at the Uni is edited almost every year to meet the needs of the labor market and prepare students to be hired. Another important point is that the University of Economics collaborates with many companies where our students can become interns with flexible schedule to attend classes and eventually they end up being hired there for job contract after graduation.
Lastly, our campus has very good localization and there are many places to study and also integrate with peers. I really enjoy my student life at my Uni and feel sorry that I have only one year left.
5. IÉSEG School of Management (4.64/5 Rating)

IESEG is a prestigious Grande École; the school’s Master’s in Management ranks 26th globally and 10th in France. The school has campuses in Lille and Paris La Défense, giving students access to top job markets after graduation.
Students at IESEG can expect a dynamic learning environment that integrates case studies, corporate projects, and international learning experiences into the curriculum. Campus life is similarly diverse, with numerous clubs and networking events for the school’s 7,000+ students.
Student Review
IÉSEG has a practical approach that makes it stand out. Group projects and real-life simulations prepare you for the world of work. In addition, international events are excellent for networking.
Student Review
I had a great time inteacting with people from all over the world ,from costa rica to morroco, ieseg is truly an international school . The professors at IESEG make learning a truly enriching experience with sessions within and off campus
4. EADA Business School (4.67/5 Rating)

Founded in 1957, EADA Business School sits right in Barcelona’s city centre – perfect for students seeking a vibrant student life alongside a top-ranked business programme. EADA delivers that too – it’s ranked 30th among European business schools by the Financial Times and 5th in Spain.
With small class sizes and students from more than 50 nationalities, you’ll receive individual attention whilst building a truly global network. Another unique aspect is the school’s Collbató Residential Training Campus in the mountains outside Barcelona, where students develop leadership skills during residentials.
Student Review
I confidently recommend EADA. I’ve just completed the full-time International MBA program, and it has been a truly transformative experience.
First, the faculty are top-tier professionals with solid careers both in academia and the business world. That alone sets the tone, but what really makes EADA special is its strong sense of community and collaboration. With just around 40 students in the classroom, I’d describe it as a ’boutique MBA’, small enough to foster rich dialogue and strong connections with professors and peers (unlike larger programs where raising your hand in a room of 80 can be challenging) EADA encourages open exchange and classroom discussion.
Another highlight is the “360 development perspective”. The program places equal importance on soft skills like leadership, negotiation, and self-awareness, making them central to the learning process, something I believe is essential in today’s competitive job market.
Finally, I must mention the warmth and professionalism of the entire EADA team, from faculty staff and administration. They’re always ready to help, always with a smile.
In short, the Full time international MBA has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my professional growth, and I hope EADA continues to expand its impact on how businesses and leaders evolve in the future
Student Review
EADA went far beyond my expectations, intense case studies and hands-on projects really sharpened my thinking, while the small class size created an incredibly supportive community. Professors and staff were always encouraging, and the global mix of classmates made every conversation richer. It was a year of genuine growth, academically, personally, and socially.
3. MIB Trieste School of Management (4.70/5 Rating)

MIB Trieste was founded as a partnership between academics and companies, and it aims to prepare students for real-world business from day one. AMBA-accredited and ranked 2nd in Italy for MBA return on investment (ROI), MIB attracts 51% of international students from over 100 countries despite its intimate size.
The school is particularly renowned for its insurance and risk management programmes, with its Master’s in Insurance & Risk Management ranking 3rd globally. Small cohorts mean personalised attention, whilst partnerships with companies provide real projects and recruitment opportunities. Located in the beautiful coastal city of Trieste, with its stunning architecture and relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, you’ll enjoy an exceptional quality of life whilst studying.
Student Review
I appreciated the international context and high professionalism of staff and professors. Classmates came from different countries, giving a multilateral perspective in problem solving activities and cultural mix into the class
Student Review
The program at MIB Trieste School of Management allowed me to acquire solid management skills in an international context. The courses are well-structured, focused on practice and group projects. I particularly appreciated the cultural diversity and the interaction with students from all over the world. I recommend this school to those looking for an enriching and professional learning experience. The organization could be improved at times, but overall, the experience was very positive.
2. ISM University of Management and Economics (4.79/5 Rating)

In second place on our ranking of the best business schools in Europe (but very close to claiming first) is ISM University in Vilnius, Lithuania. If you haven’t heard of it before, don’t be put off – the school was the first Baltic institution to receive AACSB, joining the elite 6% of business schools worldwide with this prestigious recognition.
Founded in 1999 by BI Norwegian Business School and Innovation Norway, ISM has quickly established itself as Lithuania’s leading business university. Located in Vilnius’s stunning Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and recently named one of our top hidden gem cities in Europe), the university offers double-degree programs with prestigious institutions such as BI Norwegian Business School and KEDGE Business School.
Student Review
I completed my master’s degree at this university, and while the diploma is valid and has been genuinely helpful in securing good job opportunities, I found that the study program itself was not particularly strong. The curriculum could benefit from greater depth and better organisation.
On the positive side, the university offers excellent opportunities for networking. The students in the master’s programs are diverse, motivated, and valuable connections to have for future collaboration and professional growth.
The academic environment was decent, and some professors were supportive, but overall the program did not fully meet my expectations in terms of quality. It’s a suitable option if you are primarily looking for a respected diploma and a strong professional network, but if you’re seeking a challenging or innovative academic experience, this may not be the best choice.
Student Review
ISM University of Management and Economics offers students an excellent opportunity for learning, development and future prospects. Starting with its location, which is in the very center of Vilnius, Lithuania, with access to restaurants, cafes, various grocery stores and city attractions. It is easy to reach, however, parking might be an issue if you arrive by car. The university is large, modern and well-equipped, with space for events and a student lounge where students can study, work on projects, eat or simply relax. There is also a corner with paid snacks, tables and eating utensils. A large library is nearby. The professors manage to keep students engaged, providing not only theoretical knowledge but also practical tasks related to real business, which is very valuable. Everyone speak English fluently and all courses are taught in English. Another significant advantage is ISM’s partnership with many universities worldwide, offering students the opportunity to participate in exchange programs and even obtain a Double Degree. And of course the friendly atmosphere, responsive staff and students from all over the world 🙂
1. EHL Hospitality Business School – EHL (4.86/5 Rating)

The world’s oldest hospitality school, EHL has been ranked number one globally in hospitality and leisure management by QS for seven consecutive years, and now it’s taken the top spot in our student-led ranking of the best business schools in Europe.
Located on the stunning shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne, Switzerland, with additional campuses in Singapore and Passugg, Switzerland, EHL has a community of almost 4,000 students from 127 nationalities. But these students don’t just graduate with hospitality skills – EHL graduates are recruited by companies across finance, luxury goods, consulting, and tech, drawn to the school’s emphasis on customer-centricity, leadership, and people skills. The EHL campus offers world-class facilities, including a Michelin-starred training restaurant and a state-of-the-art Sports Centre.
Student Review
When I got accepted at EHL, I thought I would attend school, sit in class, and go on with my day. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in a diverse community of people who genuinely care for one another and take the time to get to know each other. This driven student body inspired me to participate in numerous initiatives, as I felt motivated in this supportive environment. From company visits to joining a student committee, I was and still am impressed by all of the opportunities EHL has to offer beyond the classroom. While the strong academic education is at the core, I am truly grateful to support and participate in EHL activities such as representing the school at Harvard for a 3 week course as part of a collaboration. All things considered, EHL is not just a simple university experience but a journey from the classroom to the world through adaptability, independence and openness.
Student Review
EHL was my first choice university from the very beginning. As someone from a multicultural background, I was naturally drawn to its international reputation and diverse environment, where I knew I could thrive both personally and professionally.
Now in my final year, I can confidently say that EHL has exceeded my expectations. I’ve developed strong foundations in hospitality management, marketing, and finance, and had the chance to explore areas that truly inspired me, particularly Real estate finance and international marketing. These courses deepened my analytical skills and confirmed my passion for the strategic and business dimensions of the industry.
Beyond academics, the collaborative projects, support from faculty, and the dynamic campus culture have all contributed to an incredibly enriching experience. EHL helped me grow not only as a student, but also as a future leader.
