We might see Jazz as an entertainment far removed from studying business. However, EU Business School showed us that’s not the case. EDUopinions’ CEO was proud to attend an inspiring talk to EU Business School students by Mathieu Jaton, CEO of the Montreux Jazz Festival, on Friday, November 10.
Mathieu’s talk was inspiring and full of music (of course!). We learnt about the festival’s founder passion and how it was relayed onto his successor, the speaker. He gave many examples of how company culture is important for a company like theirs which has a very big seasonal workforce.
The highlight of the event was the Q&A session started. The questions were well thought out and related to real business issues. We loved that part as much, if not more than the speech itself.
