Where it All Began: my university Experience ‘’

"My campus experience at the University of Uyo was unforgettable. From the moment I stepped into the vibrant campus, I knew I was in for an adventure. The lush greenery and modern architecture created a perfect blend of serenity and innovation. I remember strolling through the campus, surrounded by friends, debating about our latest assignment or sharing laughs. The sound of Afrobeat music drifted from the student union building, beckoning us to join the fun. In the classrooms, our lecturers inspired us with their passion and expertise. We engaged in lively discussions, challenged each other's perspectives, and grew together. Outside of academics, I explored various clubs and societies, discovering hidden talents and making lifelong friends. From cultural festivals to sporting events, the campus was always alive with energy. *Likes:* 1. Academic diversity: Offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 2. Research opportunities: Has research centers and institutes. 3. Campus life: Vibrant student community, sports facilities, and cultural events. 4. Location: Situated in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with access to cultural and economic hubs. 5. Alumni network: Strong connections with graduates worldwide. *Dislikes 1. Infrastructure challenges: Some facilities may require upgrade or maintenance. 2. Administrative processes: Bureaucratic procedures can be slow. 3. Funding constraints: Limited resources may impact academic programs. 4. Accommodation: Limited on-campus housing options. *Recommendation:* The University of Uyo can be a suitable choice for students seeking: 1. Affordable education 2. Cultural diversity 3. Research opportunities 4. Strong alumni connections *Recommendation rating:* 3.5/5

Akwa Ibom State University

Akwa Ibom State University is one of the prestigious institution in Nigeria. The University has shaped thousands of grads into world impacting leaders and mentors in their respective field. It has through through highly intelligent lecturers ascertain the transfer of knowledge meaningfully. But, I must say, there are also some slack to the functionality. The University follows a defined curriculum which every year, same things, same way, same courses were taught in the same classroom. It doesn't give chance to keep track of new discoveries or probably push students to discovering one. Student are more or less pressured to cram and digest when required. There's no avenue to give individual perspective but same thing was given by the lecturers. To the end, if I was the leadership of the University, I would ensure the review of the curriculum give chance to new discoveries and then encourage the students to do something with what they learn even while in school.
