The campus is quite large, but not too large. The staff and students are very international, I feel like the education is at a very high level and it's an enjoyable place to be with many of the buildings being modern with a lot of light. I'm in a smaller class with 30 persons and I think it really is a great University to do a Master's at.
One of the most advertised features of the university, it is very pressuring and does not deliver the promised results - everything still has to be learned in the same manner as everywhere else - but here no tutorials are to be missed and PBL is supposed to be a key to successful graduation. Doing twice the work, therefore dividing the attention and time resources, without other options for students struggling with this method - then you are on your own.
I didn’t felt the program was worth my money and it was definitely not what I expected. From the professors to the actual syllabus I didn’t learned much and I feel this debt I just acquired was definitely a waste of time a big mistake
My experience within TU/e is overall positive mainly due to the student focused approach that the university utilises in order to accomodate new students and make them feel at home. One of the ways this was achieved was by having a vast variety of student associations for absolutely every hobby that one might have. On top of that, the university promotes and encourages the participation within student teams which is a perfect bridge between studying and working as you get to experience how a real work environment functions while being surrounded by students. The university also provides different levels of guidance so that one can tackle any problem they face.
Finding Global Project and Change Management was a gift for me. After searching for study programmes related to sustainability, I was so happy to encounter this. I gained a first insight into GPCM by joining as a student for a day. After this, I was convinced that this study is truly unique. I never experienced such a thoughtful, and motivated community that is so commited to make a change in the world. The programme prepares us to be impactful changemakers that have a broad perspective of the whole system and themselves. It is so nice to also get space to develop not only professionally but also personally. Overall, it is truly inspiring to see oneself and others become more independent, skilled and commited throughout the years. I did never ever regret this choice and am forever thankful that this programme exists. Get in contact with the study and find out if you also want to become part of this amazing community!
