Some great teachers, much frustration

The university is considered one of the finest medical training institutions in the country. Not sure whether because of the quality itself, or the lack of competition. There are some great, dedicated teachers, who are willing to help students and pass down their knowledge but there are at least just as many uninterested, sloppy teachers. One can find great people and future peers, but also a lot of favoritism and toxic competition.
