A Grounded and Expansive Learning Experience

Studying Geography at the University of Ghana gave me a strong balance between academic theory and real world perspective. The program encouraged critical thinking about environmental systems, urban development, and human interactions with space, which helped me develop a more analytical way of understanding everyday challenges. Beyond the classroom, the environment was diverse and intellectually engaging, with opportunities to collaborate, research, and explore different viewpoints. Overall, my experience at the University of Ghana was both grounding and expansive, shaping how I approach problem solving and structured thinking today.

Outdated and has little demand in the market

It is friendly and family oriented. A safe environment to be in. The buildings have recently been renovated and are in good shape. The programs offered are in demand except for the faculty of education programs. There is a need to update programs and offer programs relevant to the current generation. There is also a need to improve the way information is transmitted especially in these era of technological advances and Artificial Intelligence.

A transformative experience at GCTU

Ghana Communication Technology University is a solid choice for students interested in the the fields of communication and technology. With its strong academic programs and supportive community, GCTU provides a transformative educational experience. Addressing some of the administrative and internship challenges could further enhance its reputation as a leading institution in Ghana.
