Good base bachelor's degree (IOM)

I like how you can directly talk to teachers without feeling like there's this hierarchy. I dislike how unorganised things can be such as: poor communication, poor planning: last minute timing etc.... Having a decent study track coach really helps with everything, because this is the individual that knows a lot about your study progress and who you are normally the most in contact with. Which in my case helped me a lot with all types of processes. Such as: admin work, advice on academic goals, future goals related to academia etc... The negative point for Artevelde would also be that they do not provide any parking for students. Therefore, students have to pay a hefty amount to park their car on the street(s) near campus. Meanwhile other universities/hogeschool in Ghent do provide plenty of this. I'd call it absolute greed because they are more than able to provide, instead they like to hoard the parking spaces. For the language courses, there should be more options than the ones they offer, because the major I'm in (international organisation and management) is full of international students and not everyone wants to study: French, Dutch, Spanish or German.... there should be more options... The other issue in my opinion would be that Artevelde is a "Applied Sciences school" which means, if you want to obtain a master degree afterwards, you can't just directly study one, when you're in Belgium or most of the neighbouring countries, you'd have to do a bridging year (a prep year).

A good example

In this university i found peace , friends and the quality education , its not only lectures but they make sure that the students are enjoying while learning . They will mold you into a quality employee or a future boss of your desired business , and that's what i love from them .

Experience in UCB

y time in UCB has been one of the most memorable and precious parts of my teen life. It was where I experienced so many firsts—new friendships, challenges, and moments that shaped who I am today. Every day brought something new to learn, not just in the classroom, but about life, people, and myself. UCB became more than just a place to study—it was a space where I grew, laughed, stumbled, and stood back up. Those years will always hold a special place in my heart, a chapter filled with growth and unforgettable memories. uring my time as a senior high student at the University of Cebu Banilad campus, I learned how to be flexible and adaptable. Balancing academics, responsibilities, and personal life wasn’t always easy, but it taught me the value of time and resilience. Along the way, I met new friends who stood by me through every high and low. They’ve become some of the people I treasure the most, turning ordinary days into unforgettable ones. With them, I discovered not just how to manage life, but how to enjoy it fully—even in the busiest moments.
