Strathy - a good balance of uni workload and social life

Strathclyde is located in the heart of Glasgow, so location-wise you are close to everything. Glasgow is a city with a population of half a million and more than 100k university students so it is well suited for uni life and has plenty to offer. I am not gonna lie, Strathclyde is not a top 100 university ranking-wise and that's actually one of the reasons why I choose it - it enables be to both get a really decent higher education in my field of choice and have enough free time to work on other projects I am passionate about. I am doing Computer Science and the curriculum is pretty great and up to date, for instance, we got introduced to neural networks in the second semester of the first year. Facility-wise my department is not the most modern one, but I don't think that affects my education in any meaningful way.
