University of Kassel

The Universität Kassel is located in the center of Germany in the middle-northern part of Kassel. Around 20.000 students are currently studying at one of the 5 locations of the university. The biggest one is the central campus near the city centre. The good thing about the different locations is that the faculties are splitted and you don'T have all 20.000 students in only one campus, so you don't have big troubles with overcrowding. The cafeterias and cafes are cheap, provide good quality food and are well located at the campus. When it comes to learn at the university you might have trouble finding a spot in the library unless you show up early in the moring. There is also a learning center "LEO" which is often overcrowded as well and it's loud in there. The professors and tutors are good and they try their best to help students with troubles and questions.

The website got the location wrong! We are in Providence, RI!

I love my school. Who doesn't love Brown's open curriculum?? I also visited the dorms where Emma Watson stayed when she was still here - and her aura remains, with the quidditch games you can observe/participate in weekly on the Main Green. SciLi, one of the main libraries on campus, has irrefutably the most spectacular architecture that one can ever find anywhere - comparable to that of the best dorms on campus, New Pembroke 4 and Grad Center. We have a lot of activities for all sort of interests that anyone may have as well - The N. Donut Run, or the Brown Noser, being those that are most famous and renowned, far superior comparing to the Daily Herald or the Entrepreneurship Program. Brown is so left leaning that there is absolutely no income discrepancy between Christina Paxson and workers at the Ratty - our most Commie dining hall where everyone takes any amount of food they need - no matter whether they choose to participate in the meal plan or not. You can find out more about us on social media. We are extremely active on social media - the amount of posts on Dear Blueno and BBAs astound me on the daily. We have pretty fun subreddit(s) as well if you are a hippy like we are!

Flexible programm

I study architecture and this study is structured in a different way in most universities. What I like about the University of Stuttgart is that after obtaining the broad and diverse basics of the study in the first 2 years, you have the freedom to choose your own seminars and projects, concentrating on your point of interest. You can also distribute them as you wish. This is a huge adventure in a field where praxis in an office next to the studies is so important. An international semester is foreseen as well which helps you develop enormously in personal and cultural way.
