A Student- Friendly School that Feels like Home

I never regretted my decision to study in the northern part of Nigeria. Coming from the southwestern region, I was eager to experience a different culture and environment. One of the best parts of schooling in the North is its affordable standard of living — it’s truly student-friendly and accommodating for people from all financial backgrounds. If any young person asked for my advice, I would proudly recommend my school because it offers quality education at a very reasonable cost. Beyond academics, my time there shaped me spiritually and personally. The environment encouraged me to grow closer to God and reminded me of the importance of prayer and discipline. Studying there didn’t just give me a degree — it transformed my outlook on life in the best way.

Quality Education with Opportunities for Growth

Kaduna State University offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical learning, particularly in the Economics Education programme. The lecturers are highly knowledgeable and approachable, fostering an environment where students feel encouraged to excel. The diverse student population creates a vibrant campus atmosphere, promoting collaboration and networking. That said, some aspects could be improved. For example, upgrading ICT infrastructure and expanding access to online learning resources would significantly enhance the student experience. Additionally, increasing extracurricular opportunities could help students develop soft skills and build well-rounded profiles. Overall, my time at KASU was transformative, equipping me with the skills and confidence needed to tackle real-world challenges. I would highly recommend the university to students seeking affordable yet quality education. This institution provides a solid foundation for personal and professional growth.

ALL-ROUND SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

Firstly, the institution is a Postgraduate-only institution, so it's tailor-made for Postgraduate students and it's not crowded Secondly, the lecturers are all matured (not old) and experienced both personally and professionally and easily approachable Thirdly, the institution's infrastructure (specifically laboratories) was manageable for my course (forensic science) but for social sciences, arts and management sciences, I highly recommend them The academic calendar was convenient and ran accordingly The fees are moderate and not too expensive You also get to connect with some highly placed persons in the society who could become extremely useful to you in life, business, career etc Admissions process was completely online and without hassles- very very smooth and convenient. Also, securing admission is almost guaranteed up on successful application Non-Nigerians can also apply
