The syllabus of the classes are designed with care, however each are designed in a way that requires day to day work. Each contain constant homeworks or quizzes which leads to a limitation which results in frustration among students. When you take initiative, professors are very bice and supportive. However, proving onesself to them are always very difficult and one starts to interact with professors with a barrier. Social life, everyone in the school complains about it currently. This is somewhat due to the combination of Covid and the restrictions of smoking. If it stays the same, it is going to get worse and then better in the future as everyone finds a way to socialize.
I was a transfer from university of Toronto and when I tell you it genuinely feels like the program coordinators got their creditions from a homeless man down the street. I was in the computer science program at uoft transferred to the same here and the absolute incompetent morons at the transfer credit office basically disregarded over 12-13 credits I righfully earned as general credits instead of the correct course equivalence at the school. For example eesa courses ( environmental science) at uoft transferred as LIBERAL STUDIES CREDIT. Despite the otu equivalent course having the same syllabus as the eesa course the Program heads clearly made it a competition to display their blatant stupidity by disregarding this and continuing to assess these credits falsely. This school will trap you doing bulls*it courses and HOW ARE YOU CALLED A TECH UNIVERSITY WHEN YOU PROVIDE 0 COMPUTER SCIENCE COURSES OVER THE SUMMER AND YOUR COURSES ARE ALWAYS FULL

I appreciated Moi University’s strong commitment to hands-on training, research exposure, and mentorship from dedicated lecturers who genuinely supported student growth. The diverse student community enriched my learning experience both culturally and intellectually. Although some administrative processes, like registration and access to resources, could be more efficient, these challenges built my patience and adaptability. Overall, I would highly recommend Moi University for its quality education, supportive environment, and opportunities for both personal and professional development.
