My experience at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has been a journey of both academic growth and personal development. The university provides a solid foundation in education and computer science, with lecturers who are knowledgeable and willing to guide students. I especially appreciated the practical components of the course, such as the final year project, which allowed me to build real-world applications and understand system design in depth. However, I believe there's still room for improvement in areas like administrative efficiency and communication between departments and students. Delays in approvals and inconsistent feedback can be frustrating, especially when working on critical projects. Despite the challenges, I would recommend the university to prospective students who are passionate about learning and ready to adapt. The environment fosters resilience, and with the right mindset, you can gain a lot from your time here.
My experience at the University of Port Harcourt was both challenging and rewarding. The academic programme gave me a strong foundation in my field, especially with the practical opportunities and exposure to professional bodies such as ISOC, NCS and CPN. I appreciated the commitment of many lecturers who went beyond teaching to mentor students, although some courses could benefit from updated resources and teaching methods. Campus life was vibrant, offering many opportunities for networking, leadership, and personal growth. However, like many public universities in Nigeria, issues such as inconsistent academic calendars and limited infrastructure sometimes slowed progress. Overall, Uniport prepared me well for the future and helped me build resilience, adaptability, and a broader perspective. I would recommend it to students who are ready to embrace both the academic and real-world challenges that shape you into a well-rounded professional.

I think Rivers State University is a nice university that I will definitely recommend to people because they create the right avenue for learning, but an aspect I see as a downside is the fact that they do not exactly teach some departments their core courses till around the third or fourth year. Asides that, I think the university is fine.
