Studying Geography at the University of Ghana gave me a strong balance between academic theory and real world perspective. The program encouraged critical thinking about environmental systems, urban development, and human interactions with space, which helped me develop a more analytical way of understanding everyday challenges. Beyond the classroom, the environment was diverse and intellectually engaging, with opportunities to collaborate, research, and explore different viewpoints. Overall, my experience at the University of Ghana was both grounding and expansive, shaping how I approach problem solving and structured thinking today.
Throughout my academic year, so far, I have achieved to join in the academic community where I was able to conduct academic research in various laboratories of our University. I was able to join, conduct and contribute in an academic team work, specifically in fields of animal studies and cognition, neurological assessments and laboratory tool work (such as EEG). Together with these experiences I have had the chance to improve myself sharing my experience and discuss findings on related field.
If we search for which universities are leading in terms of jobs in Bangladesh, we will find North South universities first. It has a huge campus with permanent faculty and all kinds of lab facilities. There are also research centres. Every student is allowed to enter here. It is a politics-free campus All students can complete their course within the stipulated time without any session congestion. There are hall facilities which easily reduce the running cost of a student.
It's not a university but it's a training ground to acquire skills for a purpose and future. What I like about this is Lectures are always ready to assist students to undertake projects which enhance their ability. What I dislike about the school is students are being stressed with series of projects with limited time.
