1. Kindly note, it is a registered private school only, but the degrees are school-issued, not officially recognized Swiss university degrees. They are relying on the entry-tier US accreditor ACBSP itself, which is well below AACSB/EQUIS/AMBA/HEdA accreditation. So please do not be confused thinking it is a proper Swiss university. 2. Actually the school is more like a small company only, having less than 5 staff members on site. And one thing I must tell, before enrollment they are very friendly, but after joining the friendliness is finishing. 3. In the classes there are hardly 5 students at master's and bachelor's level, and many times nobody is even coming to the campus. On top of that, the teachers/staffs seemed to get fired in the middle of the semester itself. 4. One more important thing , the grades are coming from the the founder or staffs directly, very subjective and no transparency at all. The professors are not even having the right to decide the final grade!! How can this be acceptable, I am asking? 5. Now they have started selling online courses also. So I will not be surprised if one fine day they are closing the campus fully and doing only online business.
Choosing EHL was a very intentional decision for me. As an extroverted person passionate about hospitality, I wanted a university where service excellence is not only taught but truly practiced. EHL stood out because of its balance between academic rigor and hands-on experience. The AP (preparatory year) program had a big impact on me. Working in operational roles such as fine dining service, front office, pastry taught me discipline, attention to detail, and how to perform under pressure. It gave me real confidence in guest interaction and teamwork. Academically, I especially enjoyed classes related to financial accounting and economics as they helped me better understand how people and businesses function together. EHL’s career support also made a real difference. The interview preparation and guidance helped me secure my Front Office internship at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, which was a major opportunity for me. What makes EHL distinctive is its international environment and high standards. You’re constantly surrounded by ambitious, driven students, which pushes me to grow both personally and professionally. My advice to future students is to fully embrace the operational experience; it builds resilience and professionalism that truly sets you apart.
The school have excellent collaboration dynamics between study mayors and external events, Also, excellent personalized guiding assistance in school and potential extra hours mentoring. Looking forward to seeing the amazing results the MBA will bring.
