An amazing experience!

I love the quality of education I received at Bocconi. Having previously studied Management back in Turkey, coming here to do my masters in Marketing Management allowed me to get much more specialisation regarding my field. I got to know more about the data side of marketing, which brought me a whole other perspective. The school itself has many opportunities to make your university life the best possible experience. I enjoyed the seminars held, the extracurricular activities carried out, the opportunities to join an association, and have also been staying in one of the residences of Bocconi, which has made my life so much easier. Overall, I can say that both in terms of the education I got and the campus life Bocconi provided me, I am very satisfied with everything.

Bicocca Sociology

I am following the degree course in Sociology. I'm really happy with how I'm finding myself at this university. I think the professors are very good and available in giving any kind of information. Very active university life with numerous initiatives. Clean and sunny environment. I highly recommend it.

A recent drop out

1. Kindly note, it is a registered private school only, but the degrees are school-issued, not officially recognized Swiss university degrees. They are relying on the entry-tier US accreditor ACBSP itself, which is well below AACSB/EQUIS/AMBA/HEdA accreditation. So please do not be confused thinking it is a proper Swiss university. 2. Actually the school is more like a small company only, having less than 5 staff members on site. And one thing I must tell, before enrollment they are very friendly, but after joining the friendliness is finishing. 3. In the classes there are hardly 5 students at master's and bachelor's level, and many times nobody is even coming to the campus. On top of that, the teachers/staffs seemed to get fired in the middle of the semester itself. 4. One more important thing , the grades are coming from the the founder or staffs directly, very subjective and no transparency at all. The professors are not even having the right to decide the final grade!! How can this be acceptable, I am asking? 5. Now they have started selling online courses also. So I will not be surprised if one fine day they are closing the campus fully and doing only online business.

A Mixed Bag of Good and Bad

I attended Sigmund Freud University during the academic years 2022-2023, and overall, my experience with the faculty was a mix of highs and lows. One thing that stood out positively was the incredible support and dedication shown by the faculty members. The professors at SFU were genuinely invested in their students' success and were always willing to help whenever students sought their guidance. They were approachable, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to assist students in understanding the course material and academic concepts. However, despite the impressive support from the faculty, I must highlight that the organization at SFU could be improved. The overall system seemed to lack coordination, leading to certain aspects of academic life feeling unorganized. For instance, course schedules and syllabi were sometimes updated at the last minute, causing confusion among students. Additionally, administrative processes, such as course registration and academic advising, could have been smoother and better streamlined. Moreover, some professors struggled with managing their workload and appeared stressed at times, which impacted their ability to provide a consistent and structured learning environment. This lack of organization affected the overall learning experience and hindered students' ability to fully engage with the material. In conclusion, SFU is a place where students can expect a lot of support from faculty members who are passionate about teaching and willing to help. The dedication of the professors is commendable and greatly contributes to the positive learning environment. However, the university could benefit from implementing better organizational strategies to ensure a smoother academic experience for its students. Despite the areas that need improvement, the support and guidance received from the faculty make SFU a worthwhile institution for those seeking a strong support system throughout their academic journey.

Would undoubtedly choose it again if I had to

Personally, I am quite happy with my choice to come to study at Humanitas University and would do so again if I had to. It is by no means a perfect university, it is currently going through some 'growing pains' that result in disorganization, some professors are better than others, etc. However, it's a new university that is growing, the hospital is right next to it, the facilities are new and excellent, there is a lot of support for international students, etc. In my opinion, the pros heavily outweigh the cons.

The amazing professors/teachers there!

First of all since my campus was in the heart of Rome, the place and inside of the university was like a whole museum. I love how friendly and helpful the staff was, the professors were one in a million. I love how they did all their best to tell us about the subjects in detail and in a fun way with examples for us to get into it more. I liked how they make time and engage in it and actually help us to teach us, so it was all in one reading writing with our own brain and infos searching for the sources by ourselves listening but also being able to express our own way of knowledge on the topics!

A place for opportunities!

I completed both my Bachelor’s (Triennale) and Master’s (Magistrale) degrees in Biotechnology. Being in a small class was really helpful. It made communication between students and professors much easier. Also, the program offers a one-year internship packed with opportunities! .
