I really enjoyed my time at Chinhoyi University of Technology. I liked the practical learning, supportive lecturers, and the peaceful yet vibrant campus environment. I would recommend it because it prepares students with real skills and a strong academic foundation.
View moreChinhoyi University is one of the developing technological institutes in Zimbabwe. During my learning period, my major was aligned with the faculty of Art and Design, and I suffered the challenge of not having enough design tools. Also during my university days it was also a wonderful experience; although the faculty of art and design could fail to provide major design equipment, we were provided with design workshops, which made us see design from a different perspective. Also the university clubs made me find my people, with whom I’m sure I have created a lifetime bond. I would recommend students who would like to pursue tourism and hospitality because the university owns a hotel, which students can have practical lessons on, and I would also recommend students who would like to pursue any farming program because the university offers thriving farms, which are also used for students to practice real-life farming. Last but not least, I would recommend students who would want to pursue any technological and engineering program because the university owns an innovation hub with all the necessary tools of technological advancements.
