Great university but it needs a reboot, they still use a very old teaching model.hardly enough time is given to practical research and they still make you study irrelevant courses. Physical therapy is supposed to be practical but we hardly had time to be with patients. Too much time was wasted on theoretical learning.

As a former medical student at the University of Zambia I can confidently attest that this institution is one of the best in the region.
The lecturers at UNZA are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields, they provided us with exceptional guidance and mentorship throughout our studies.
additionally, UNZA attracts students from all over the world and this has created a rich diversity where we shared ideas, cultures and perspectives.
As a medical student, I had the opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience at the University Teaching Hospital and this prepared me well for the medical profession.
My experience at UNZA was truly unforgettable. I gained world-class education, made lifelong friends and developed skills and confidence to pursue my dreams.

Perfect Teaching methodology, with a very friendly learning environment and they always make sure that students are always put first.
With the course of radiography I was studying, our course coordinator was always available for whatever ever we might need.

I would recommend the university because its a great place to venture your skills, at first it was challenging but got used to it and adapted to campus life of pressure for assignments and test. Everyone can join the university if you want to study your career.
