Self and independent study is a must here, like in any university, the achievements depended on what you dedicated to go further, at my time professors where dedicated and reached high standards, for education field was in the top 5 in the country.
The main campus in Caracas for sure was something different, in Nueva Esparta was very different because at that time did not have a campus , clases were taken in spaces they rented in schools, professors kept us motivated challenging us with projects to put in practice
