Student review [#19679] for Computer and Information Science
at University of Michigan

If you have the option to go to UMICH for an exchange, I would highly recommend it. The university itself is amazing, with really nice facilities, good variety of classes and extremely prepared teachers. Buses here are free if you are a UMICH student and have your M-Card (the uni card). There are a couple of places to go out at night, the town is perfect for a semester or a year. I think if I had to study here for 4 years I would be a bit tired though. But it is really nice. Very positive experience. It’s one of the best universities in the world (check out the rankings) and either way if you get tired you can just go to the Detroit Airport and fly wherever you want. But if you’re staying for a short period I don’t think you’ll be bored, there are always plenty of events and parties to go to. The only “bad” thing is the paperwork to go to study to the US (I’m from Spain) and how expensive everything is (they charge you for everything). But it really is worth it, 110%.
