Student review [#105292] for Drama and Performance
at University of Dallas

The Core Curriculum and the generally outstanding and caring professors challenged and pushed me intellectually in ways I never imagined.
I attended U of Dallas for its Drama major and program. Based on my experience over my fours years, including studying for a semester in Rome, the Drama major at UD and its productions are one of the finest preparations for a career in the Arts for a BA program in the nation. Rigorous and demanding but supportive of each person- because it is not a large program were hallmarks of my experience which resulted in immediate admission into a top MFA Acting program and an eventual career as a working theatre artist. That said, many majors in the program find success in other areas across many industries. This has been my personal observation. Employers quickly learn the Drama kids Get Stuff Done.
If you are interested in an outstanding theatre training program with demanding academics U of Dallas Drama may be the place for you.
