My experience at Trinity Washington University has been meaningful as a first-generation Latina college student. The small class sizes make it easy & helpful to connect with professors, and many of them truly care about helping students succeed. I appreciate how supportive and encouraging my professors have been, especially in the Sociology, Psychology, and Education departments. Campus life is welcoming, and I’ve met many students from similar backgrounds, which helped me feel understood and supported. I also like that TWU offers many opportunities to grow professionally and academically, especially for students who are first-generation or come from non-traditional backgrounds.
Overall, I would recommend Trinity to students looking for an environment where professors and staff genuinely care about your success.
