As a freshman at the University of Texas at San Antonio, my experience has been mostly positive so far. I really appreciate that the professors are friendly, approachable, and willing to help when you have questions or need extra support. The campus offers a lot of useful resources like tutoring centers, academic advising, and career services that make it easier to succeed in classes. I also like that there are many clubs, student organizations, and events which provide great opportunities to meet new people and get involved on campus.
On the other hand, the campus is quite large, which sometimes makes it challenging to get from one building to another quickly, especially between classes. It can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you have back-to-back classes far apart. Additionally, some of the classes are large, which means you might not get as much individual attention as you would in smaller classes.
Overall, I think UTSA is a good school with many opportunities for learning and personal growth, but it does take some time to adjust to the campus size and class environment.
