Despite the sudden move to online education, my lecturers easily converted their classes to a distance-learning structure, using recorded lectures and Zoom breakout rooms to speed up learning. The fact that faculty and staff were all conscious of the fact that, for many of us, school was the furthest thing from our minds given everything else going on in our towns and the rest of the globe was by far the most significant factor. All of my teachers, in the departments of Biology, Art History, and Spanish, were wonderfully kind and flexible and went above and beyond to make sure that students were succeeding outside of the classroom.
