View moreSeatle is a great place. Location wise, it’s a great place as it is not too far from downtown but not too close either. The capacity-constrained major system is harsh, but essentially everyone has to go through it.
View moreWhile university itself is very beautiful and the faculty is amazing. A lot of majors at UW are capacity constrained which means that when you are admitted to the university if you don’t get assigned a major you need to apply through a competitive process to get a major. So, there is a chance you don’t get a major of your choice and you are left to pick a major you don’t like or you need to transfer out. I know lots of people who transferred out or picked majors they don’t really like. If UW didn’t have something like this, it’d be 5/5.
