Santa Monica College (reviews)

This is my first year at SMC and the consultants treated me nicely ,all are nice to me vice versa .
And the students we had the seminar together were also nice to talk to them ,they all had good communication skills , I had no more experience there but it seems good in the future.

SMC has provided me with a wonderful online experience. Although I was not able to attend classes in person this year, SMC’s online classes have allowed me to continue pursuing higher education regardless of location. Their accessibility and support have helped me learn without being held back. Classes have been top-notch, regardless of modality, and the professors have been inclusive and supportive. 100 percent would recommend if you have a tight schedule or are unable to come to classes in person.

At Santa Monica College (SMC), students can thrive in a supportive learning environment. I found the wide array of courses, committed faculty members, and active campus community to be truly enriching. The school’s strong focus on diversity is evident in its efforts to ensure all students, especially People of Color, feel welcomed and valued on campus, including hosting special graduation ceremonies for Asian, Black, and Latino students. Overall, my time at SMC has been rewarding, and I would encourage anyone seeking a vibrant educational experience to consider this institution.
