I switched my major to sociology after my first semester at UTSA because I loved learning about the whys and hows of society and people. Not only did my professors display clear and concise knowledge, but they also displayed their passion for the subject, which added to their ways of teaching and made the classes all the more interesting to learn every day.
I would recommend this school to others because the university would always host entertaining and engaging events for students, along with providing necessary resources that include peer mentors, academic coaching, and the career centre. The involvement fair and information about organizations are also frequent throughout campus. I believe UTSA has an organization for everyone and students would definitely get a lot out of their college experience by getting involved.
