Radford University is an exceptional institution situated in the scenic New River Valley in Southwest Virginia. It is located in the serene town of Radford, VA, and boasts a picturesque, easily navigable campus. The university exudes a welcoming atmosphere, catering to a diverse range of students. Each academic program offers the necessary resources for student success and goes above and beyond to support additional learning opportunities. The university caters to a wide range of athletic interests and skill levels with its varsity, club, and intramural sports teams. The campus gym is well-equipped to accommodate various fitness activities. Both students and faculty are known for their amiable nature, making the university a highly enjoyable place to be.

When I first arrived at Radford University, I was so excited. That excited feeling carried out to the 4 years of being there. The atmosphere of parties and extracurricular activities are definitely the highlights of being a student there. Most of the professors are encouraging and really care about the students. There are many resources, from the library to Harvey knowledge centre, that are great resources to help with schoolwork. There are great spots to hang out as well like the dining hall and The Bonnie. However, being here also sparked my journey of self-discovery, finding lifelong friends that are so supportive, and helped me to find myself as an individual. It quickly became my second home. Even though I am from Virginia Beach, which is 5 hours away, it became a home that I didn’t want to leave as well. I have found a community that was accepting, fun, and hard-working as well. I love every part of it.
