Amazing and affordable all around college
I studied a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies at at PSU and can honestly say I am really happy with my experience. While academically it isn’t extremely rigorous, and it lacks much of the student life that bigger state colleges offer, my experience as a commuter was extremely positive. It is an affordable college, even offering (at my time of study) a program for transfer students to finish college debt free, which was definitely a deciding factor for me. My professors were all wonderful, and wonderfully excentric, which made my learning experience memorable and enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this college to those who want to go to university but don’t want to accumulate tens of thousands of dollars in debt, perhaps especially those who are not fully decided on what they want to study. On the flipside, for those looking to earn a title from a prestigious university, or who want the hollywood college party life, PSU isn’t for you.
