Internships and collaboration opportunities – although other students often complain about this school, I find it very helpful in preparing you for the outside world. Co-op options are great. I am a freshman here at Pace and now entering my second semester. Study Marketing. I started building my resume and applying for jobs about a week ago using their database and already have two companies interested in hiring me as an intern. These aren’t places like Walmart and Old Navy, I’m talking real industrial places like Donna Koran New York (DKNY), Billboard Magazine and the Downtown Alliance. City Chic or Suburbs Babe – Pace University has two large campuses. One is in New York where the hustle and bustle of the city is always exciting. It’s close to Battery Park and just a few train stops from anywhere you want to go. There is always something to do here. It is also at the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge that you can walk across and be in the heart of Brooklyn full of restaurants and fun under the sun or stars in beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park. The other campus is in Pleasantville, NY, which is definitely a suburb. Although there isn’t much to do in this quiet town, there is ALWAYS something going on on campus. You can never get bored with countless organizations hosting events on campus. It’s also not far from White Plains, NY, which has a great city vibe. You cannot have anything to do on either campus.
