Northern Arizona University - NAU (reviews)

NAU is in Flagstaff Arizona, one of the most sought after places to live in AZ, and it makes a huge difference. I transferred from ASU’s Tempe Campus. I was not comfortable there. NAU is much less of a party school than ASU. Campus life is a lot more laid back, and even at the bigger parties we do not see the kind of thugs who crash parties in Tempe.

NAU’s receptive environment makes it easy for International students in finding access to equitable resources. The Center for International Education provide international students with numerous facilities and opportunities both in on and off campus transitioning and after school opportunities.

NAU is an amazing university. There are a ton of resources available here for everyone. Also, there are a variety of interesting programs available that might suit any student’s interests. The clubs and organizations for students are vibrant and really fascinating. There’s so many of them, so everyone can find something they are interested in. Overall, It’s a wonderful institution with plenty of professional connections, employment chances, and internships. I fully recommend going there.

Overall, the academics are very good. Most of the dorms are in good shape. Although the councilors are kind and willing to assist you with issues, the administration can be a little challenging at times. amazing institution with plenty of fantastic opportunities and resources! The students are very diverse and people are always willing to help and guide one another. Also, there are lots of great clubs to be a part of.
