at Northeastern Illinois University - NEIU

I chose NEIU as the university for my study abroad in the US and I’m extremely happy with my choice. The university’s location, in the north west side of an incredible city like Chicago draw my attention, but what made the difference with other institutions is their academic offer and their engagin atmosphere. You are free to choose whichever classes you want to attend and they have a great variety in many fields. There are just 20/25 students per class so that makes the lessons somewhat personalized and you feel close to the university’s staff and fellow classmates. They also have a lot of job opportunities on campus for students and organize a ton of events to make you feel integrated in the community. Their facilities (Gym, pool, library, parking lot, theatre) are free for students and are excellent places to relax and take a break from studying. I would definitely recommend NEIU to other international students!
