When I started looking at different colleges and Universities to attend, I found myself asking a very important question. What kind of place do I want to be in during the most important 4 years of transition in my life? The best thing about SLU is that it really allowed me to discover myself and helped put me on the right track to becoming the man I hope to be one day. There’s a lot of good schools around the world the offer high level of education but a great schools does that while also teaching you about the things in life that you can’t ever learn in the classroom. The St. Lawrence University community is one like no other. Canton is not New York City but being located in the middle of nowhere helps you build amazing connections with students and professors like no other. Alumni’s are very engaging and are always trying to help you build your career. SLU is not perfect but regardless of any hardships you might find yourself going through, the hardest one each year will always be saying goodbye to your SLU family in May.
