The programme is flexible in that there are difficult courses that can be studied in-depth, and there are also easier courses to leave more time for students to brush up on their skills, find internships and find jobs. With the surge in AI popularity in recent years, the college has recruited a number of AI research insiders from Google and FB to teach.
All things considered, the programme is still very good in terms of curriculum, not only in terms of breadth but also depth. If you are interested in CS, then take more CS courses; if you are interested in finance and economics, then you can take all the electives at stern and learn more about business. Stern’s finance and economics courses still have a lot of good classes, and the professors in the classes are basically big names in the industry, so the teaching ability is still very strong.
