The location is excellent. Aside from the high cost of living, New York is the nicest location I’ve ever lived. It is partially offset by the wide range of opinions and life experiences that can be found here, which is incomparable to any other place I’ve lived. In comparison to my undergraduate college, the graduate students I’ve met are extremely kind and cooperative. It’s pleasant to be among people that care about their education and like conversation because they are also very educated and driven.

I opted for the Study Abroad Program at NYU’s campus in Prague, Czech Republic. Along with taking full-time classes in Political Science and Central European history, I was also interning with a management consulting firm working on clean energy projects in Eastern and Central Europe. I got to learn a lot about the Czech culture and the Central and Eastern European history, current affairs, and culture during my time in Prague
