The professors are fantastic, and there are abundant opportunities for involvement both on and off campus. The campus itself is extremely appealing. The community of individuals is warm, friendly, and enjoyable.

Fordham University is widely recognized as a prestigious institution, and it’s no surprise considering the incredible support staff, library, and instructors they have. The facilities provided are excellent and cater to all needs, with plenty of computers and study areas available for students to utilize. It’s amazing that they offer assistance specifically for speaking and writing in academic contexts, ensuring that students can excel in their studies. Overall, your college experience is what you make of it. I play in New York, the biggest and best playground in history. So you can find what the school is missing, good food and more in one block. Some of my favorite college experiences are attending lectures by renowned professors and scientists, attending discounted student performances at the Lincoln Center Symphony near Fordham, and attending student theater and dance performances. We think Fordham has the best combination of location, community and workload. You will have plenty of time to explore and be exposed to different areas of study until you choose your route. I majored in business, theater, dance, computer science, pre-med, and political science. I have friends and they are all interesting, eclectic and fun. Fordham also works with Columbia and New York University to offer advanced courses to students from each university, depending on their field of study. Theology students from Columbia and NYU come to Fordham, and engineering and biotechnology students go to them. Fordham is great because it gives you a competitive edge in everything from college to graduation to employment. When you get to Fordham, that’s exactly what happens!

Fordham LC is a decent school with many majors to choose from and a great location in the city. However, many of the professors are not tenured or even full time meaning they are working at other universities and have so many students. This affects how much time and effort they can dedicate to Fordham students which is extremely disappointing considering the high price tag of the school. Fordham attempts to be accommodating to look good in the public eye but at the root of it really makes no effort to change current systems to better the school.
