Columbia is a wonderful place to learn and boasts a thriving and welcoming intellectual community. Every student in our classes is engaged and holds a variety of opinions. Although parts of the dorms might require restoration and the experience is clearly not the “typical” college experience commonly depicted in the media, it is nevertheless wonderfully unusual, especially given that it is in New York City.

Great school spirit, lovely surroundings, and abundant resources. At the moment, I’m a graduate student, and Columbia is well-known in NYC. The number of opportunities I anticipate will yield a large return on investment. The beautiful metropolis where Columbia University is located provides a wealth of opportunities for students to grow and find employment.

Studying at Columbia University has given me access to a completely new world. The academics at Columbia University are extremely passionate about what they do and about assisting students in realizing their greatest potential. The amount of diversity in the meal options is fantastic, which I think shows how attentive the institution is. Even though the lodging options aren’t the best, they are nonetheless more affordable than off-campus accommodations. Excellent organization, I must say.
