I feel safe on campus. I have to go through 2 secure doors with key fobs and one door with a key lock to get into my dorm and have never had a reason to feel uncomfortable. I also feel safe anywhere on campus, but I avoid walking alone at night as I would anywhere else.

Academics are the focus of most students at UF but at the same time students know how to manage schedules so fun is still achievable and all the time is not spent studying. The teachers feel the same way, that school is important, but so is the balance of all things in daily life. Most professors and teaching assistants care deeply about students. The lessons are stimulating and engaging.

The University of Florida really puts a lot of effort into making everyone feel part of their community. Student life is very welcome and very easy to join. In terms of academics, I moved from another school and immediately saw a dramatic difference in academic rigor. Finding a parking space around the UF campus is the only thing that is extremely difficult. Parking lots are few and far between, and to make matters worse, apartment complexes usually don’t have parking garages.

The University of Florida is a great place to study. All the students are very friendly and all very good at promoting learning and becoming better people. There are many extracurricular activities and almost all the teachers are at the top of their field. Without forgetting that the campus is magnificent!

Studied Political Science and Business. Absolutely engaging course loads, a dynamic campus experience and top rate Professors. Campus life was totally engaging. Our Administration struggled at times to respond to societal impacts- but adhered to Student requisitions and insights.

The University of Florida is a huge school with around 50,000 students. It can be a little overwhelming at times, but due to its size there are things for literally any student to become engaged in. The professors are always top-quality and usually have many years of professional experience within the fields they teach and study. If you think you would enjoy a school with endless opportunities, sports, and more, UF is a good choice for you.
