UF is the perfect combination of academic prestige and a football-loving SEC school. My colleagues are focused on their studies, but find a healthy work-life balance. A degree from UF will take me far into the future, but I’m also having a blast hanging out. I have met great people through involvement in various organizations on campus. I’ve loved every teacher I’ve had, and I’m entering my second semester of sophomore year. I wouldn’t want to study anywhere else. Go Gators!
View moreIt is a top university in the state of Florida. I’m in a top program and he has a 100% hiring rate at the end of the program. I have an internship in my spring program and I have high expectations for the next semester.
View moreThe athletic program here is one of the best in the country and is well known throughout the country. Our teams haven’t done well in recent years, but they have one of the best legacies in the country. It’s great to see so much engagement, not only from all the students on campus, but also giving back to the Gainesville community.
View moreThe University of Florida is a very prestigious school. It is one of the top ten public universities, which means that the academic work is difficult. The town revolves around the school, which I enjoy and there is plenty to do. We have many bars and nature around campus. Ginnie Springs and Paines Prairie are nearby and great attractions. Our sports teams are great and sporting events are great fun. Nothing beats the swamp. All in all a great school full of students who show a lot of school pride and a Go alligator spirit!
View moreAthletics is one of my favorite aspects of UF. Sports are such an important part of everyday life, although after a few years of absence (like last season in football), UF is proud to host some of the best college sports teams in the country, like our football and basketball teams. Our gymnastics team is also very successful and enjoying increasing popularity. Even students who know nothing about the sport enter college and come away with a passion – or at least an understanding of the rules. The school spirit is among the best in the country thanks to our athletics department.
View moreCampus life is great! In addition to adjusting to independent living, the convenience of living just a 15-minute walk from all of your classes provides the convenience of returning to your dorm between classes and walking to class for a breath of fresh air. . In my opinion, dorms are the best way to meet new people! Whether you’re cooking together in the kitchen, chatting about your favorite TV shows in the common room, or joining one of the fun dorm communities, fun new friends with cool interests are just around the corner.
View moreExcellence in Prestige and Consistency – I chose to attend the University of Florida not only because of the prestige, but also the consistency. Students can always count on this university to provide the best learning environment and professors who are available and knowledgeable in their subjects.
View moreThe University of Florida is a large campus with a wide variety of opportunities for students of diverse backgrounds and interests. They have great school spirit and are proud of everything but football. It is a school of diversity and strength.
View moreThere’s a reason UF is the highest rated school in FL! Most teachers care about the students and want to make sure we succeed. The registration process is super easy – just learn to read your diploma audit and take reservations early. The workload is the same as any other school like UF – there is a lot. However, there are off-campus resources to help with learning. Typically, students associate with study at Library West or Marston.
View moreVery well assembled! Very organized and doable. Just like being personal. My learning was not hampered at all. Zoom made me feel like I was in class. I can still see everyone and ask questions at my leisure. To be honest, I really couldn’t see any difference. I liked it. That’s why my online experience has been great and I can’t wait to start my next career. I am grateful that my classes have been put online due to the pandemic instead of being canceled entirely.
